THE M.O.E. TEAM
Original Characters for the City of Houston
The M.O.E. Team is a suite of original characters created and illustrated by Fernando J. Moguel for the City of Houston's Office of Education and Youth Engagement. Each of the characters is designed with an aesthetic, personality, and profile that represents one of the main areas of the Department of Education. The goal of this project was to incorporate storytelling, world-building, and gamification into official communication pieces to engage the youth.
The Adventures of Khari
Illustrated Children's Book Series
The Adventures of Khari is an illustrated children's book series by children's entertainer and multi-media creator, Julio Peterson of Mr. Pete's Playhouse. This colorful and educational book series is inspired by the experiences of life in the Virgin Islands, with the aim of sharing these experiences with children and families. The books are written by Julio Petersen III and illustrated by Fernando J. Moguel.
SUNN
NFT Art-The Bionaut
SUNN (Sustainability United for Nurturing Nature) is an organization dedicated to improving traditional supply chains of food, waste, and energy through education and innovative use of technology. They commissioned Fernando J. Moguel to illustrate a series of NFTs to build awareness of their cause. For the project, Fernando J. Moguel created the concept of the Bionaut: protector of life.
Pistachio Entertainment
Illustrated Characters for Music Album
Pistachio Entertainment Group is a company that designs and organizes live events, including children's parties and shows. Fernando JM produced a music album for Pistachio Entertainment Group and created a series of illustrated characters to accompany and promote the music.
